Tip #4: Listen to songs in English

Music is an excellent way for you to practice your listening skill! Lyrics Training is a website where you can listen to songs but you need to complete the lyrics. It offers many kinds of music as well as different difficulty levels. It is very worthy to give it a chance. Why don´t give yourselves a try by clicking on the image? It's simply funtastic...

Tip #3: Watch movies and TV

Most English learners consider this one of the funniest ways to improve their language skills. Choose an English-language movie that you want to watch and put on subtitles in your native language, so you can follow along, or watch a movie in your native language and put on English subtitles so you can see the words on the screen.

You can use closed caption while watching movies om Netflix or video on YouTube (not musical ones). By the way, talking about Netflix, I share with you an article published at EL Tiempo last week. Please click here to read.

Tip #2: Listening practice

Learning a foreign language is like going to the gym. Your muscles are strengthened only if you practise every day. It's the same with language: practice makes perfect.

Tip: dedicate 15 minutes of your time to English every day. You can listen to music or a podcast, read a book, watch short movies on the internet, play games on your smartphone, or meet up with native speakers for a language exchange.

Tip #1. Learning apps

Duolingo and Memrise are two apps you can install in you mobile. The first one offers you a language course and the the second allows you to choose a language and what you really want to learn (vocabulary, verbs, grammar). They're excellent options for practicing a little English everyday!
