Hi,
In our last class we work on quantifiers HOW MANY - HOW MUCH - A LITTLE - A FEW - A LOT OF - SOME - ANY. Remember that this group of words help us to express quantities without using any numbers, but you have to keep in mind if you're talking about a countable or uncountable noun. Analyze these examples:
How much milk do babies drink? They drink a lot of miilk.
How many arepas and empanadas do people in Colombia eat? They eat a lot of arepas and empanadas.
How much salt do you need for the soup? I need a little salt.
How many eggs do you want to eat? I want just a few.
Is there any ketchup in the fridge? No, there isn't any.
Are there any lemons for the lemonade? Yes, there are some.
The next chart summarizes what quatifiers are about.
The following video will show how quantifiers are used.
Now it's practice time and rhe following exercises will help you practice a bit more on the topic.
Cheers,
Claudia
